Institute for Democracy Societas Civilis - Skopje

The Institute for Democracy “Societas Civilis” Skopje (IDSCS) is a Macedonian based think–tank organisation. The Institute was founded in 1999 by a group of intellectuals who gathered around the idea of democracy, solidarity and civil society. As a result of its expertise, performance and influence, through time, the Institute grew into a respected factor in the Macedonian civic and public sector.

The handbook gives an overview about the presidential elections 2014 as well as about the history of the presidential elections in Macedonia, the electoral system for presidential elections as well as information about current candidates for President.
